The Extreme Vet50 has a patented design that incorporates a true flat scan path, an ultra precise scan mechanism, and using protective cassettes, produces over 300,000 high resolution images per plate.
Simply put, our imaging plates are affixed to a rigid back panel so that nothing ever touches the active phosphorus area of the plate, resulting in artifact free images throughout the plate lifetime. Unlike most CR products, the Extreme Vet50 uses no rollers to transport the plate across the two scan heads.
The Extreme Vet50 has been designed for small format applications. The 60 plates per hour throughput makes it ideal for medium to high volume environments. The Extreme Vet50's small footprint makes it a perfect fit for any location.
